NLC India conducts free treatment with Free Medical Aids
On December 18, 2022, as part of its CSR commitment, NLC India Limited hosted a Free Medical Camp at the Government High School in RR Colony, Indira Nagar, for the benefit of the community there as well as Neyveli and the neighbouring districts.

Every year, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes, NLC India Hospital holds free medical clinics in the communities near Neyveli. After the Free Medical Camp held on December 18,2022, at RR Colony (B-2 Block), Indira Nagar, Neyveli.
Specialists in medicine
Dr. C. Dharini Mouli, General Superintendent (I/c) of NLC India Hospital, opened the camp on the campus of Indira Nagar Government High School. Specialist physicians, medical personnel, nurses, and pharmacists from NLC India Limited’s departments of general medicine, paediatrics, gynaecology, ophthalmology, dentistry, ENT, dermatology, orthopaedics, and ayurveda took part in the medical camp and treated those in the surrounding areas.
Free medical aids and supplies in addition to free treatment:
Blood tests were performed, and therapies were administered in accordance with the results. Free medical supplies and equipment were distributed to the underprivileged public, including 18 hearing aids, 9 wheelchairs, 13 tripods, and 4 walkers. NLC India Limited has also presented first aid kits and a cutting-edge water purifier called “Water Doctor” to the Indira Nagar Government High School.

This camp helped 1145 people in all, including 260 children and 332 men and 553 women. Mrs. Maanvizhi, Head Master of Indira Nagar Higher Secondary School, and Mrs. Rajalakshmi Krishna Murthy, President of Indira Nagar, Neyveli, honoured the occasion.
