BPCL recognized at 9th India CSR Summit
NEW DELHI: As part of the “Border Village Development Program,” BPCL’s work with government schools in Arunachal Pradesh was recognised at the 9th India CSR Summit in the category of “Rural Development and Infrastructure.”

The project entailed installing solar roofing in about 20 schools in the Arunachal Pradesh districts of Lohit and Dibang Valley, where there is no regular electrical supply due to the challenging terrain. These benefits have reached more than 500 students from these schools.

The India CSR Summit, which is co-hosted by CSR Box and the Dalmia Bharat Foundation, brings together corporations, CSR foundations, governmental organizations, non-profits, social enterprises, and consulting firms to network, collaborate, and scale-up activities in the development and impact sectors.
