NTPC Ramagundam – Rural Sports Meet 2022
On November 25, 2022, NTPC Ramagundam officially opened the two-day Rural Sports Meet 2022 in New Delhi. More than 700 students attended the event at the Mahatma Gandhi Stadium of the NTPC Ramagundam Permanent Township. They came from 18 Government Schools in nearby villages.

Khokho, Kabaddi, volleyball, shot put, and athletics are among the sports that will be played at the two-day sports event (4×100 metre relay race, 400 metre race and 100 metre race).

Speaking at the event, he urged the attendees to cultivate sportsmanship and make it both competitive and pleasant.

The GM-Maintenance and President of the Sports Council, Shri Alok Chandra Thakur, emphasised the significance of the occasion by saying, “It is a time of pride for NTPC Ramagundam since we are holding such a major Sports Meet. The quantity of participants and their vigour and passion speak volumes about the scale of the event.
