India discontinues Air Suvidha form filling for international passengers
International travellers landing in India will be greatly relieved that the Union Health Ministry has eliminated the option to upload a self-declaration form to the Air Suvidha portal.
On November 22, the amended decree becomes effective. All overseas travellers landing in India were required to complete out the Air Suvidha form, which asked questions about previous travel, present health, and other topics.

According to the ministry, any traveler exhibiting coronavirus symptoms should be quarantined in accordance with established protocol.
All travellers must self-monitor their health after arriving and must visit the nearest medical facility or call the national hotline number (1075) or state helpline number if they experience any suggestive symptoms. According to the directive, the recommendations have been “updated in light of continued lowering Covid-19 trajectory and considerable improvements in Covid-19 immunisation coverage both internationally and in India.”
Last Monday, the Ministry of Civil Aviation declared that, in accordance with the Government of India’s policy of a progressive approach to the COVID-19 management response, the usage of masks would no longer be mandatory on flights and would instead merely be advised.
Following the pandemic, regularly planned domestic flight operations were put on hold for a two-month period starting on March 25, 2020. The scheduled international flight services were stopped on the same day and resumed on March 27 of this year.
