SAIL is the first Maharatna PSU to get ABMS Certification
Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), a public sector organization in New Delhi, has the distinction of being the first Maharatna organization to apply the Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS). The ABMS (ABMS Certification) is a management system created in accordance with ISO 37001:2016 to assist a company in preventing, detecting, and dealing with bribery.

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) recently presented the ABMS Certificate in accordance with IS/ISO 37001:2016 to SAIL in the distinguished presence of Shri P K Srivastava, Vigilance Commissioner, CVC; Smt Soma Mondal, Chairman, SAIL; Shri Vineet Pandey, CVO, SAIL; and other senior officers of CVC, BIS, and SAIL.
SAIL’s corporate office in Delhi and its Bokaro Steel Plant in Jharkhand both received the ABMS Certificate. SAIL intends to gradually roll out ABMS to its other plants and business units.
