Zebronics create memories with kids on National Cancer Awareness Day

Being a good corporate citizen, Zebronics, India’s top brand of IT peripherals and consumer electronics, and Myrtle, a Chennai-based NGO, organized a day camp for 20 cancer-stricken children and their families on National Cancer Awareness Day. Mr. Rajesh Doshi, Co-Founder & Director, Zebronics, was present during the session and interacted with all the children as well as their parents, paying close attention to each one to grasp the issues at the ground level.

The snacks and the delicious lunch left the kids feeling pretty revived and grateful. They were then all brought to play arcade games, where their smiles and sparkles only got bigger and brighter. These lovely people sang, danced, and were just joyful to feel like children at the end of the day. After that, everyone was dropped off safely, capping off the day with smiles and laughing.

Mr. Rajesh Doshi reflected on the day and said: “Today was a wonderful day. Zebronics has always had access to possibilities like this, and through its CSR section, we frequently work with NGOs and carry out similar initiatives as part of the Zeb-Health project. These children have the same purity and energy as any child their age, even though they frequently cannot pursue a proper education because they are fighting a terrible illness. Cancer awareness-building is very urgently needed, and its stigma needs to be lessened. Understanding more about cancer through such interactions would undoubtedly aid in making lifestyle adjustments to lower risk, and early identification can substantially lessen suffering and fatalities as well.
