Employee Volunteering Program On ‘Seed Ball Making’ By AMNS India

Seed Ball Making – ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS IndiaCSR )’s team has organized an employee volunteering programme with the goal of involving the staff in a specific activity where they can play a noteworthy role in establishing green belts in the industrial area.

More than 100 workers took part in a “Seed Ball Making” training programme and created hundreds of seed balls. A simple and practical method of establishing green belts and conserving the environment is the use of seed balls. These balls will be scattered around and near the plant areas to reduce carbon footprint and boost vegetation.

AM/NS India continues to uphold its commitment to the sustainability concept through a number of initiatives, according to Dr. Vikas Yadvendu, Head-CSR. We intend to host more of these educational training sessions.
