The leading edtech business in the world, BYJU’S, has partnered with the Indian Coast Guard as part of its social impact programme, Education For All, to honor the Armed Forces’ contributions and provide their personnel’s children with high-quality digital learning opportunities. The three-year collaboration intends to educate more than 1200 students in grades 8 through 12 whose parents work for the Indian Coast Guard.

BYJU’S will offer these students free access to its tech-enabled, top-notch digital learning resources in collaboration with the Indian Coast Guard.

Over 500 licences have already been given out to students at government schools in many coastal cities in India, including Chennai, Kochi, Bhubaneswar, Port Blair, and Gandhinagar.

Mansi Kasliwal, VP-Social Initiatives, BYJU’S, spoke about the association and stated, “The Indian Coast Guards operate in some of the most challenging situations, protecting our borders at sea and in the air, year-round. We must do everything in our power as a community to guarantee that their kids have equitable access to educational opportunities. We are honored to work with the Indian Coast Guard and assist the offspring of the courageous coast guards who diligently protect our country. Our partnership with the Indian Coast Guard is an effort to promote digital inclusion, which will empower and inspire young kids to become well-rounded adults.

“ICG has been supporting and enhancing efforts to encourage children of ICG staff to strive for excellence and establish a strong foundation for these children to embark on a successful career ahead,” said Additional Director General Rakesh Pal, PTM, TM. Each year, there have been quantum leaps, and the numerous success stories we get from all around the nation help to rewrite history.

The partnership between ICG and BYJU’S Education For All aims to advance the government’s “Samagra Shiksha” programme and make it easier for the children of ICG employees to take use of all of their educational options.

A social impact project called “Education for All” by BYJU will be introduced in 2020 with the goal of democratizing education and guaranteeing that every child has the opportunity to learn. Through digital learning, this effort is dedicated to enabling kids in the most remote locations and underserved areas. BYJU’S Education for All, with a goal of empowering 12 million impoverished kids by 2025 and bringing about significant systemic change in the education ecosystem, has already had an impact on 5 million kids through 140+ NGOs in 26 states.
