REC bags Best Public Sector IT Project award
At the Technology Excellence Awards 2022, REC Limited, formerly known as Rural Electrification Corporation Limited, which is a division of Power Finance Corporation Limited, won the category for “Best Public Sector IT Project Award”.

The honour was accepted on behalf of REC by Shri RP Vaishnaw, Shri Pankaj Gupta, Shri Somya Kant, and Ms. Navita Dubal, respectively.
Leading infrastructure finance company Navratna Central Public Sector Undertaking, which is part of the Ministry of Power, has a net worth of more than Rs 50,000 crore (as on 31st March, 2022). The company’s business activities include funding initiatives across the whole value chain of the power sector, including generation, transmission, and distribution.
