“We are thrilled by the reception we have got as we welcomed on board more than 100,000 passengers within just 60 days of operations,” said Praveen Iyer, co-founder and chief commercial officer of Akasa Air. We are thrilled to be able to add Delhi to our network and connect the capital city to the quickly developing and lively cities of Bengaluru and Ahmedabad in order to further increase our domestic connection and serve more travellers throughout the holiday season. The team hopes to establish a strong pan-India presence by growing the network with one aircraft arriving every 15 days, he continued, and anticipates operating 300 weekly trips by the end of October.
