Payal Kanodia, M3M Foundation wins Mahatma Award 2022
The Mahatma Award 2022 has been given to Dr. Payal Kanodia, Trustee of the M3M Foundation, in recognition of her outstanding leadership in corporate social responsibility (CSR) and her steadfast efforts to assist the underprivileged through the M3M Foundation.

On October 1, a large award ceremony was conducted at the India International Centre in New Delhi to honour all the recipients. The Mahatma Award had nearly 1900 nominations, with 90 winners in several categories.
The event’s chief guest, Prof. Dr. Sankar Kumar Sanyal, president of the Harijan Sevak Sangh, which Mahatma Gandhi founded in 1932, gave the award. Amit Sachdeva, a social entrepreneur and the creator of the Mahatma Award, as well as Padma Bhushan Smt. Rajashree Birla, the chair of the Aditya Birla Centre for Community Initiative and Rural Development, and guest of honour Ms. Radhika Bharat Ram also attended the event.
The philanthropic arm of the M3M Group, the M3M Foundation, has always had a positive impact on society as a pioneer in CSR projects. To create, carry out, and expand its social welfare programmes over the years, it has worked closely with the Indian government.

Dr. Kanodia expressed his gratitude for the honour by saying, “It has both humbled and motivated me. I want to express my gratitude to Rajashri Birla Ji and the Aditya Birla Group for this thoughtful act. This accomplishment will serve as a constant reminder of my duty to society.
“This esteemed award is also a fitting recognition and affirmation of the outstanding work M3M Foundation conducts to positively affect society,” she continued. I’m also grateful to the M3M Foundation for giving me the perfect channel to interact with underprivileged and in desperate communities. This honour is also something I owe to my team members and their commitment to CSR. We have received praise and honour for our group efforts.
