Gandhinagar Capital-Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Express to inaugurate tomorrow

Gandhinagar Capital-Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Express inauguration

New Delhi: On September 30, 2022, the recently introduced Gandhinagar Capital-Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Express will begin service. The indigenously constructed train will also include a suitable regional food that is rich in millet and low in calories.

The highly anticipated experience of taking the High-end Vande Bharat Express from Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra State, to Gandhinagar, the capital, has finally arrived.

After its first run on September 30, 2022, Mumbai Central will be open to everyone as of October 1, 2022. The Indian Railways’ division for expert catering services, i.e. IRCTC will provide passengers’ taste buds to a fine dining experience while they are travelling, both on the official opening day and on regular runs.

In the prestigious semi-high speed train, Indian Railways is prepared to serve upscale fare tailored to the palates of distinguished passengers. Local food will be a perfect complement to the train’s sophisticated design and appearance, anticipating Gujarati and Maharashtrian passengers’ preference for the service, while also catering to other regions of the country.

Gandhinagar Capital

Ragi, Bhagar, cereals, oats, muesli, and other low-calorie food alternatives would be a staple of the menu in an effort to cater to the premium business and corporate market that travels along the route. In the Mumbai Gujarat Section, Railways has continued to pay attention to the preferences of fasting, Jain, and senior customers.

The specially created cuisine for the Vande Bharat Train also aligns with the theme of the next year 2023, which is set to be observed globally as the International Year of Millets. India has been leading the initiative at the UN. In April 2021, the General Assembly will pass a resolution designating 2023 as the International Year of Millets.

For the first time, the luxury train will offer healthy malt beverages for children who are travelling.

Replace chocolate bars with regional brands of “Peanut Chikki” made with peanuts from nearby farmers, according to the Be Vocal, Go Local philosophy.

The “Quality First” slogan is used to guide the menu service, which includes morning tea, breakfast, high tea, lunch, and dinner.

By hiring seasoned and capable individuals with a balanced gender mix, on par with the IRCTC-operated Mumbai-Ahmedabad Corporate Tejas Trains, on board hospitality will be provided.
