HDBFS celebrates World Physiotherapy Day
Every year on September 8, World Physiotherapy Day is commemorated to increase public awareness of the contribution physiotherapists contribute to society. Under the auspices of its CSR programme Transport Aarogyam Kendra, HDB Financial Services (HDBFS) is hosting exclusive physiotherapy camps for the trucker community to make this day more poignant (TAK).
Long-distance routes are frequently driven by truck drivers in cramped areas. Their physical and emotional problems are made worse by other elements like bad terrain, ergonomic dysfunction, vibrations while driving, urgency of deliveries, etc.
From September 8 to September 12, HDBFS will hold physiotherapy camps in thirty cities throughout the states of Karnataka, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Telangana, Maharashtra, Bihar, Odisha, Assam, and Madhya Pradesh with the goal of concentrating on the health and wellbeing of truck drivers. To help as many truck drivers as possible, the locations have been thoughtfully selected in and near transportation hubs. The camps were put together in coordination with neighbourhood doctors, transporters, and business associations. The camps use cutting-edge medical technology and skilled therapists to offer truck drivers high-quality treatment.
