Bacardi appoints Vinay Golikeri as MD of India
Bacardi appoints Vinay Golikeri – Vinay Golikeri has been named the managing director of Bacardi’s operations in India and its neighbours. Golikeri will be in charge of overseeing commercial operations for the company’s portfolio of premium spirits across the market, the company said in a statement. He will also continue to ensure ongoing sustainable and profitable growth for the company.

Golikeri will lead the Indian leadership in his new position. He will leave his role as Managing Director of Global Travel Retail (GTR), which is based in Dubai. He contributed significantly to the transformation of GTR into a critical brand-building and commercial channel for the portfolio during his time there by presenting solid plans to create equity with travellers from emerging markets.

Golikeri will now report to Subramaniam and replace Sanjit Randhawa, who held the role for almost five years prior. For a new position, Randhawa will now relocate to Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He will now serve as the Director of Global Travel Retail, Asia, the Middle East, and External Affairs. He is a seasoned professional with extensive knowledge of external affairs in India and Southeast Asia. He has served in prestigious capacities as a board member for a number of organisations, including the International Spirits & Wines Association of India (ISWAI) and the Thai Alcohol Beverage Business Association (TABBA).
