PGIMER Dr RML Hospital New Delhi

PGIMER Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital New Delhi formerly known as Willingdon Hospital, was founded by the British for their employees and had only 54 beds. After independence, control was transferred to the New Delhi Municipal Committee. It was returned to the Central Government of Independent India in 1954.

The hospital has grown over the years and now has approximately 1532 beds spread across 30 acres of land. It serves the people of New Delhi and the Central District, as well as patients from other areas and even outside of Delhi. It has 94 beds in a Nursing Home for C.G.H.S beneficiaries, including a Maternity Nursing Home.

The Government of India is fully funding it (Ministry of Health Family Welfare). In this hospital, no emergency patients are refused treatment.

This hospital provides 24-hour emergency services in Medicine, Surgery, Orthopedics, and Paediatrics. Other specialities are also available on an as basis. All supportive services, such as laboratory, X-ray, CT-Scan, Ultrasound, Blood Bank, and Ambulances, are available around the clock. NEET Counseling process

After the NEET 2022 results are released, register on the MCC website for these colleges and select the DU & IP internal quota. MCC makes admission decisions after counseling for the first, second, mop up, and stray rounds. DU provides counseling. Its website address is www.mcc.nic.in:

a) Moulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi

b) University of Delhi

c) Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi

d) VMMC (Vardhman Mahavir Medical College, New Delhi

e) PGIMER Dr. RML Hospital, New Delhi

IPU handles the counseling for these three colleges. In this, animation is provided for 85 percent of seats in both government colleges and 100 seats in ACMS by conducting intra-university counseling. The IPU application form has been completed. After the NEET results are released, the score will be updated on the university’s website, www.ipu.ac.in. Those candidates who did not fill out the application form before will be given another chance after the NEET 2022 results. The IPU application fee is Rs.1200/-, and the counseling fee is Rs.1000/-. The prospectus will be issued by the IPU following the NEET 2022 results. The IPU will conduct the first phase, second phase, and mop up round counseling, according to the schedule. Documents are verified following counseling registration. This online verification occurred in 2022. Following vehicle registration, documents were uploaded and verified online by IPU. After online verification, the first round selection must be made. These are the three colleges:

a) Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Medical College, Rohini, Delhi

b) North Delhi Muncipal Corporation Medical College, Delhi

c) Army College of Medical Sciences, New Delhi

First Stage Counseling :

This counseling is done online, in this provisional merit list, and seat allotment is done based on the candidate’s choice on the vacant seat of all three colleges of state quota, if you get seat allot, you will have to deposit Rs 40,000/- online for that. The online allotment letter will be issued later. All admission formalities must be completed and the balance fees must be deposited in the college after going to the allotted college with that allotment letter and original documents and submitting the documents. If you want to upgrade this seat, you must select “Yes” for upgradation in the college and participate in the second round. If you are satisfied with this allotment and do not want to upgrade this seat further, you must select “No” for upgradation in the college at the time of admission; otherwise, you will not be considered for upgrade in subsequent rounds. Like MCC, the first round is an exit round in this case, which means that even if you do not accept the seat allotment in the first round, you will still be eligible for the second round counseling. If you do not receive a seat allotment in the first round, you will have to wait until the second round.

Second Stage Counseling :

If you are satisfied with this allotment and do not want to upgrade this seat further, you must select “No” for upgradation in the college at the time of admission; otherwise, you will not be considered for upgrade in subsequent rounds. Like MCC, the first round is an exit round in this case, which means that even if you do not accept the seat allotment in the first round, you will still be eligible for the second round counseling. After seat allotment, the admission formalities are the same as in the first round, but if you have joined any college in the first round and seat allotment is done in the same college in the second round as well, you will have to go to allotted college and give willingness otherwise that seat will be forfeited. The Mop Up round will be used to fill the vacant position.

Mop Up Round Counseling :

This counseling is done after the second round to fill the vacant seats. Offline counseling is provided. IPU will publish a list of eligible candidates for mop up round counseling, and on-the-spot admission will be granted as a result. Must be present at the time and location specified by IPU for Mop up round counseling, accompanied by original documents and a demand draught for Rs.40,000/-.

Candidates who are eligible for the Mop up Round of Counseling:

1) All candidates who did not report in the first and second rounds or withdrew are eligible.

2) All candidates who did not receive a seat in the first or second round and are still waiting are eligible.

Candidates who are ineligible for the Mop up round of counseling include:

3) Candidates who withdrew after taking a seat in the second round extended are ineligible.

4) Candidates who joined the seat in the first and second rounds are ineligible.

5) If you joined a seat in the second round of MCC or in another state, you cannot participate in the Mop Up round.

Counseling of Stray vacancy round :

Following the mop up round, a stray vacancy round is held to fill the vacant vacant seats. All candidates who did not receive a seat in the previous rounds are eligible for this. Candidates who participated up until the Mop Up round are ineligible for this.

Note: All India Quota Counseling book for DU Quota admission in Delhi state through MCC has been thoroughly explained in which category wise seat matrix of previous year cutoff, choice filling, and everything is available.
