What is Coronavirus?
According to WHO, Coronavirus is an infectious disease with sometimes mild and sometimes

Different variants and vaccines worldwide
Currently there are five main variants of coronavirus spread worldwide:
1- Alpha: This variant was detected first in the United States but initially starting out from the
United Kingdom in December 2020. One of several variants of concerns, it is considered to be
40%-80% more transmissible than wild type SARS-COV-2.
2- Beta: It is a South African variant first detected in January 2021. Believed to be of particular
importance it is widely spread nowadays in parts of North America, Northern Asia and
Australia. It has been noted that this variant can attach to human cells more easily and can be
more efficient against any vaccine.
3- Gamma : A dangerous variant starting out in Brazil in early January now spread to more than
12 countries. Also shown as a variant of concern but a vaccine can work against it more
efficiently.
4- Lambda: This is a Columbian variant first detected in June 2021. It is thought by scientists
that Lambda may be resistant against vaccines. It's increased transmissibility showcases greater
infectivity than any other variant. The mutations inside make it more infectious. Now it has
spread in to 30 other countries including U.K.
5- Delta: An Indian variant of SARS-COV-2. It was first detected in India in early July 2021.
This is a more contagious variant than earlier strains and can also be resistant against the
vaccine. This variant may spread very easily from one person to another in short time. It has
mutations that make it easier to infect human cells. It is 50% more infectious than the original
coronavirus found in China. It has rapidly spread to 104 countries and results in 97% new Covid cases.
Apart from all these variants there are some vaccines invented by different countries to prevent
this deadly disease and their names are folllowing:
1- Sinovac (china)
2- Sinopharm (china)
3- Moderna (America)
4- Astrazeneca ( England)
5- Pfizer (America)
6- Sputnik (Russia)
So my dear friends, you have to take a lot of precautions to survive this deadly virus. Your lives
matter alot and you should care for it. Get vaccinated and always follow the precautions which i
have illustrated in the video above. Stay in home and stay happy. Thank you.
