Eligibility Requirements for University of Limerick Scholarships for International Students 2024
The following are the criteria for applying to University of Limerick Scholarships 2024 although these are also subject to faculties requirements at the University;
- International Students from all part of the world can apply to the programmes of their choice.
- Applicants must enroll this Month (September) to be eligible for any of these scholarships.
- Only After Applying for Admission for a programme will you be considered for a Scholarship which cannot be transferred to any other programme.
- Some scholarships will only be available for Non-EU Students who are liable for paying tuition fee.
- Applicants are only entitled to hold one scholarship at a time.
- Scholarship is available to you on the basis that you are willing to serve the University in its internationalization and student related projects for not more than 1-2 hours per week during the period of study if necessary.
- Proof of English Language proficiency may be required by faculties.

- Faculty of Science and Engineering Scholarships: International (Non-EU) merit-based scholarship worth €1,500 per year. The scholarships are based on academic merit and are a reduction in tuition fees. Students do not apply for the scholarship, once they apply for any of the above programmes they will be automatically considered for scholarship.
- Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences Scholarships: International (Non-EU) merit-based scholarship worth €1,500 per year The scholarships are based on academic merit and are a reduction in tuition fees. Courses in the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance are not included in this scholarship initiative.
- Kemmy Business School Scholarships: International (Non-EU) merit-based scholarship worth €1,500 per year. The scholarships are based on academic merit and are a reduction in tuition fees.
- Faculty of Education and Health Sciences Scholarships: Master Degree Scholarships – €1,500 scholarship available for the following programmes: MA in Psychology, MSc in Psychological Science, MSc in Sports Performance, MSc in Sports, Exercise and Performance Psychology and the BSc Nursing Studies. There is a €3,000 scholarship available for the MSc Nursing Studies.
- Peter Real Analog Devices USA scholarships: The Peter Real Analog Devices Scholarship for undergraduate students, which will award €5,000 each to three students, are merit-based and students who are accepted to UL with top academic grades will be considered. The funds are designed to help support cost-of-living expenses, including room and board.
- Indian Students Scholarships: India Scholarship’ is available to undergraduate Indian students. This generous scholarship is worth approx. €4,279 (students will only pay €8,000 tuition fees per year) and is available to students for the four years of the Degree programme (providing progressions rates are reached).
- UL Progression Scholarship: This Scholarship awards EU fee status to Non-EU fee-paying University of Limerick (UL) students who wish to progress to a Master Degree course at UL. This scholarship is only available to Non-EU fee-paying UL students who successfully complete their four year Bachelor Degree programme at UL, prior to receiving a Master Degree offer at UL.
