About Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium

The Vrije Universiteit Brussel was formed by the splitting in 1970 of the Université Libre de Bruxelles, which was founded in 1834 by the Flemish-Brussels lawyer Pierre-Théodore Verhaegen.
