2023: Study in the Netherlands International Students’ Scholarship Program through Rotary/IHE Delft

Graduate students at the Dutch campus of the Ihe Delft Institute for Water Education are given RotaryIHE Delft Scholarships per year.

By increasing the number of qualified professionals who can create, plan, and implement solutions in poor and emerging nations, The Rotary Foundation (TRF) and IHE Delft Institute for Water Education seek to address the global water and sanitation challenge.

Scholarship Information:

These awards aim to foster long-lasting, fruitful relationships between Rotarians and highly qualified water and sanitation specialists in their local areas. There have been over 150 scholarships given out since the partnership’s beginning in 2012.

The following is the application procedure: Rotarians interview and choose from among local applicants who have already been admitted to the standard MSc Program in Water and Sustainable Development at the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, in one of the following thematic tracks:

  • Health and Water
  • Health of Ecosystems and Water Resources
  • Water Risks, Hazards, and Climate

Conditions for Scholarships:

In order to be eligible for the scholarship, you must:

  • The candidate must have earned a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Must be eager to learn new skills and receive training in the fields of water, health, water resources, and ecosystem health.
  • must exhibit outstanding leadership and academic credentials.

Scholarship Length and Compensation

  • Complete Scholarship

These grants are intended to foster enduring, fruitful connections between Rotarians and highly qualified water and sanitation specialists in their local areas.

Courses Rotary/IHE Delft Scholarship

  • Water Hazards, Risks, and Climate
  • Program Water Resources and Ecosystem Health
  • Health and Water

Approach to Application

  • Before April 1, 2023, you submit an application for admission to the IHE Delft Master program in Water and Sustainable Development.
  • Before April 15, 2023, the sponsoring Rotary Club will submit your completed application to the Rotary/IHE Delft selection committee in The Netherlands.
  • Before May 15, 2023, all candidates will be informed of the results after the selection.
  • The Rotary Foundation will formally endors e the decision on July 1, 2023.
