VO: How many Universities did you apply to?
Me: Pace University, Webster University, and California State University, San Bernardino. (PS: I got acceptance by all but I choose Webster because the cost is feasible for me and the program courses are really good.)
VO: Alright, who is sponsoring you?
Me: My parents are sponsoring me while I am going to study Webster. They have their save of XXX dollars, which is only for my study purpose. And as I am doing the job for around 3 years I have my personal savings which are worth XXX dollars.
VO: What’s your father doing?
Me: told about his occupation, annual income, and assets value.
VO: did you travel before?
Me: No.
VO: Do you have any friends in the USA?
Me: Yes, I have friends and juniors who are currently living in the USA. ( PS: If you have then don’t lie. )

VO: Last time you rejected right? So What was your last University?
Me: It was Campbellsville University.
VO: so are there any scholarships?
Me: Yes miss, I had.
VO: How much roughly?
Me: It was more than 70% approximately.
VO: Alright! So how many Universities did you apply?
Me: I applied to 3 Universities. 1)Southeast Missouri State University, 2) Southern New Hampshire University, and 3)Campbellsville University
VO: so what’s wrong with Southern New Hampshire?
Me: Miss actually, the rest of the two universities offering me more scholarships.
VO: So why you’ve chosen Southeast Missouri State University?
Me: Yeah, there have some reasons to choose this university. Southeast Missouri State University is a public university and it has a great reputation not only in the US but also over the world. I did Research on this University and I found it perfect with my choice. They’re offering a lot of things, like, High Profiles of Lecturers, a Gigantic Campus, A Historic library namely Kent Library, Rich labs, and also they have a Museum inside their campus.
Moreover, I think, If I get a degree from this university, I can gather more respect from my community.
VO: Great. So Why this subject?
Me: Well, I was interested in Computer Programming since early intermediate college life. And also if we think about the context of Bangladesh, then we need a lot of development in the IT sector as well as need professionals. So, I wanna make myself as a skilled IT professional so I can serve my country through this knowledge.
VO: So after finishing your Graduation, what’s your future plan?
Me: Yeah! I have a dream! I was always dreamed to establish my own software company in my home country. So after finishing my graduation, I’ve to come back to my home country to work on my dream.
VO: You got a huge scholarship, but who’s gonna pay the rest of your tuition fees and living costs?
Me: It’s my father.
VO: What does he do?
Me: My Father owns a garments factory which is located in Tongi BSIC, by my mother’s name ‘Momtaz Fashion’. Currently 200 employees… (She stops me here)

Don’t tell the Visa officer anything about yourself or your sponsor that the officer has no idea about because they are first-class officers and don’t have the willpower to spend extra time figuring things out and you know the rest of the stuff. So, prepare yourself that way.
ভিসা অফিসার চাইলে ২/৩ টা প্রশ্ন জিজ্ঞেস করে ছেড়ে দিতে পারে, আবার ১৫/২০ টা প্রশ্নও করতে পারেন। তবে মনে রাখবেন— ১. সৎ থাকতে হবে, মিথ্যা বলা যাবে না।
২. যা জিজ্ঞেস করবে, শুধু তার উত্তরই দিবেন, বাড়তি কিছু নয়।
৩. Confidence থাকতে হবে, তবে Over নয়।
৪. সাপোর্টিং সব ডকুমেন্টস সাথে রাখতে হবে।
৫. আপনি USA তে কাজ শেষে দেশে ফিরবেন কিনা, তাও দেখে।

ভিসা দেয় তার প্রোফাইল অনুযায়ী সাবজেক্ট নির্ধারণ করা,
i20 এবং DS160 তে অসংখ্য ভুল থাকে- স্টুডেন্টদের এগুলো ভালোভাবে খেয়াল রাখা,
এবং ভিসা অফিসারের প্রশ্নের (স্টুডেন্টের নিজের প্রোফাইল অনুযায়ী) সঠিক উত্তর দিতে পারলেই ভিসা নিয়ে আসা সম্ভব।
“মনে রাখবেন আপনার কোথাও ভুল হলে ভিসা অফিসার এটা আপনাকে ধরিয়ে দিবে না বরং আপনাকে কনফিউজড করে রিজেক্ট করবে।”
আমি expert নই। তাও কিছু বলতে চাচ্ছি।
১। যে university, থেকে i20 পেয়েছেন সেটা ভালো করে জেনে যাবেন। কোন সেশন ও বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় সম্পর্কে।
২। আপনার source of fund / financial support কে দিচ্ছেন। এ সম্পর্কে ভালো তথ্য মাথায় রাখতে হবে।
৩। source of fund, বাবা হলে, বাবার আয়ের উৎস কোথা থেকে এটা ও ভালো করে জেনে যাবেন।
৪। পৃথিবীতে এতো এতো দেশ থাকতে USA তে কেন পড়াশোনা করতে যাবেন?
৫। দেশের বাহিরে অন্য কোন দেশে গিয়েছেন নাকি? (একেবারে অপশনাল প্রশ্ন) F1 সবাই কে জিজ্ঞেস করেনা।
৬। confident is good but not over confident. That’s okay.
বছরের 25 থেকে 30 হাজার ডলার খরচ করে আপনারা পড়াশোনা করবেন আমেরিকার মত একটা দেশে এই সামর্থকটা কয়টা লোকের পক্ষে সম্ভব একমাত্র ধনীর দুলাল দুলালী যারা তাদের জন্য আপনার ড্রেসিং ও সেই লূকটা থাকতে হবে আমার কথাটা অনেকে ব্যঙ্গ করবেন কিন্তু এটাই রিয়েল আপনার সবচাইতে বেস্ট ড্রেসটা আপনাকে পড়তে হবে

Answer based on the courses and syllabus; do not generalize answers too much. Be more specific
The reason why you choose this university should be clear. That means whenever you are asked about your University during the interview, you must highlight your personal perspective. For example, maybe you know someone or any professor from this university or it could be the location or the weather. Whatever it is that does matter to you and you should emphasize all those points during the interview. And keep praying to the almighty
একটা প্রশ্ন করে যাদেরকে রিজেক্ট করা হচ্ছে তারা আগে থেকে ডিসাইড করে রাখি কার প্রোফাইল রাখবে কার প্রোফাইল রিজেক্ট করবে কারণ অনেক আগেই আপনাদের প্রোফাইল গুলো ক্রস চেক করে নেয়
আসলে ভিসা পাবার ক্ষেত্রে এই যে আপনারা কাউন্টার নাম্বার আর ভিসা অফিসার কে এত প্রাধান্য দেন, এটাই সবচেয়ে বড় ভুল, গ্রুপের সিনিয়ররা সব সময় বলেন যে এগুলো কোনো ইস্যু নয়।
আপনার ds160 ফর্ম দেখে আগেই তারা সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়ে ফেলে যে কাকে ভিসা দিবে, কাকে দিবেনা, এটা অনেক অভিজ্ঞদের থেকে শুনেছি। শুধুমাত্র একজন ভিসা অফিসারের ২/৩ মিনিটের প্রশ্নোত্তর এর কারণে এত বড় সিদ্ধান্ত হতে পারেনা।
দয়া করে এই কাউন্টার নাম্বার আর ভিসা অফিসারকে নিয়ে গবেষণা বাদ দিয়ে, পিছনে কোনো ভুল আছে কিনা দেখেন, সেটা নিয়ে কাজ করেন।
