Aligarh : Winners of various competitions, including poster-making, debate, slogan writing, quiz and speech were felicitated during the Prize distribution ceremony held at the Paramedical College, Faculty of Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).

Vice Chancellor, Prof Mohammad Gulrez, Registrar Mohammad Imran IPS and other dignitaries congratulated the winners and motivated them to sincerely work for a successful career in paramedical sciences.

Prof Mohd Mohsin Khan, Finance Officer, Prof Veena Maheshwari, Dean, Faculty of Medicine, and Professor Haris M Khan, Principal, JN Medical College also spoke on the occasion, highlighting the scope of Paramedical courses in the healthcare sector.

Prof Ibne Ahmad, Principal, Paramedical College narrated his journey in establishing the College, and described the challenges ahead.

In the poster making competition under the theme Swachh Bharat 2022, Naaz Nisar (Dialysis 5th Semester), Subhana Shakeel (Dialysis 5th Semester), and Hina Chaudhary (Medical Lab 5th Semester) received the first, second and third prize respectively.

The first and second prize in the debate competition under Janjatiya Gourav Diwas 2022, went to Nazia Ismail (Dialysis 3rd Semester), and Abdurrab (Dialysis 5th Semester). Tazeen Fatima (Dialysis 5th Semester), Bhoomika (Physiotherapy 5th Semester), and Priyanshu (OT 5th Semester) won the first, second and third prize respectively in the poster competition marking the Partition Horror Remembrance Day 2023, while in the Slogan writing Competition, Shabnoor (OT 3rd Semester), and Areeba Hanif (Medical Lab 5th Semester) got the first and second prize respectively.

In the Poetry competition, Nandani Sharma (Medical Laboratory 5th Semester) and Warda Hashmi (Physiotherapy 5th Semester) got the first and second prize respectively.

The first and second prize in the slogan writing competition in the Anti-ragging event went to Afifa Imam (Physiotherapy 5th Semester) and Ibtihaj Fatima (Physiotherapy 5th Semester) respectively.

Shifa Khan (Physiotherapy 1st Semester) and Nada Anjum (Physiotherapy 1st Semester) received the first and second prize in the poster making event on Physiotherapy Day 2023, while Areeba Fatima, Ibtihaj Fatima, Anza Mazhar, Zainab, Kamran Kausar and KausharAkram (Physiotherapy 5th Semester) won the Quiz Competition.

In the essay writing competition on Hindi Diwas 2023, Zainab Fatima (ML 3rd Semester) and Sadhana Bhartiye (ML) were declared the winners.

Ashrukh Shahid, Arifa Iqbal and Viqra Israr got the first, second and third prize respectively in the speech competition held on OT Day 2023, while Mohd Fazil Ansari, Mohd Asif Khan, Ilma Nafees, Mohd Shahid and Anshika Kathariya won the the quiz competition.

During the Sir Syed Day celebrations, Alishah, and Afeefa Ahmad and Asna Saleem received prizes for their speeches.

Dr Nida Nawaz, Assistant professor, Paramedical College conducted the Prize Distribution Ceremony, while Dr Mohsin Aijaz proposed a vote of thanks.
