ALIGARH : Dr. Syed Sohaib Hashmi, a Junior Resident in the Department of Community Medicine, J.N. Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University secured second position in the final round of a National Quiz organized during the National Conference of Public Health Association for Students’ Edification (PHASECON), organized by the Department of Community Medicine and School of Public Health, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh.
Dr. Hashmi and Dr. Srinath KM (JR-3, AIIMS, New Delhi) formed the team which became the first runner-up in the national quiz.
Several other members of the Department of Community Medicine, including the junior residents Dr. Chandan Kumar Tiwari, Dr. Danish Kamal, Dr. Althaf Assis and Dr. Tijo Rahim, attended the conference.
Prof. Saira Mehnaz, Chairperson of the department, congratulated Dr Hashmi on his success.
