Following is the text of the Vice President’s Message:

“I extend my warm greetings and best wishes to all on the auspicious occasion of Buddha Purnima.

Buddha Purnima is a day to reflect upon the profound teachings of Gautama Buddha, who dedicated his life to guiding humanity towards nobility in thought and action. His message of non-violence, tolerance and peace has resonated across centuries, and continues to inspire us to build a society guided, above all, by empathy and harmony.

On this auspicious occasion, let us rededicate ourselves to the principles of Lord Buddha’s Dhamma, and strive to embody the virtues of compassion and kindness towards all beings.”

मैं बुद्ध पूर्णिमा के शुभ अवसर पर सभी को हार्दिक बधाई और शुभकामनाएं देता हूं।

बुद्ध पूर्णिमा, महात्मा बुद्ध की शिक्षाओं को आत्मसात करने का दिन है, उन्होंने अपना जीवन विचारों और कर्मों द्वारा मानवता को श्रेष्ठता प्रदान करने की दिशा में समर्पित कर दिया। अहिंसा, सहिष्णुता और शांति का उनका संदेश सदियों से हमें एक सद्भावपूर्ण और समावेशी समाज के निर्माण के लिए प्रेरित करता रहा है।
