The postdoctoral researcher is developing virtual reality (VR) environments with varying greenery features and seasons, which will be used for controlled experiments on greenery exposure while traveling. Along with the rest of the project team, the postdoctoral researcher will take part in experiments in various study cities. The postdoctoral researcher may also contribute to other aspects of the project, depending on their experience and interests.
For example, computer vision abilities enable participation in the development of human viewpoint indicators of urban greenery, which could be widely used in urban planning in the future. Generally, the postdoctoral researcher is encouraged to participate in Lab activities and to teach and supervise students in the Geography Master’s Programme or the Urban Studies and Planning Programme.
