Through this scheme, one can get a house for himself under the scheme of PMAY-G ( Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana- Gramin). The PMAY- G, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin came into action from the time of the PM Modi government. The objective of this scheme is to provide a house for everyone, and that’s even why this scheme has the tagline of the ‘’Housing for All’’ scheme. This scheme is currently running till 2022 which was earlier till 2019 but the government decided to extend it till 31st MARCH 2022. • A family that is houseless
• Those families which have zero, one, two rooms available but it’s not a pucca house or in case they have a kutcha roof.
• Those families which do not have a literate adult of 25 years or above age.
• Those families which do not have an adult male member whose age can be between 16 to 59 years.
• Those households which have bodied members or any disabled members can apply to this Scheme.
• Those families are dependent on work such as casual or daily labor.
• Those who come under Scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, and other minorities.
