First of all, let us talk about the important date of NDA 2, what will be the date of form application. So it will start on 15th May 2024 and the last date will be on 4th June 2024, which means we get sufficient time of 18 days and its exam will be on 1st September 2024.
Age Limit:
These dates are always fixed which is the best thing about NDA. This helps us a lot in our preparation. The best thing is that things work in a very disciplined manner.Now let us talk about the age limit which is a concern of all the candidates If we take the eligibility criteria, then the child’s age should be 16.5 to 19.5 years, which means there is a chance of up to 3 years when it comes to whether he/she can fill the form or not.
How to Prepare for NDA Exam
Let us see how we have to prepare, how we will study, first of all let us know what kind of posts are available in NDA, it is for both male and female, first let us talk about the army wing so your qualification in this should be 10+2 from any recognized board. Now let us talk about Navy, Air Force and Naval Academy.You can pass 12th along with 10+2. Pass with Physics and Mathematics should be passed from any recognized board. Those with Biology can apply for Army wing.
Exam Pattern
Now talking about the exam pattern, it has the same pattern on the basis of NDA 1, within which the subject pattern is slightly updated, about which We keep telling you on regular basis, now let us know from which subjects the subjects come, in this your Mathematics comes for 300 marks and GAT( General Ability Test)in which English comes for 200 marks, Science comes for 200 marks which includes 100 marks of physics part and 100 marks for chemistry and biology combined and GK comes for 200 marks.GK covers all polity and history, it has a weightage of 200 marks.Mathematics comes for 300 marks there are 120 questions, one question is of 2.5 marks and duration is of 2.5 hours, similarly in G.A.T there are 150 questions of which is of 4 marks each, which is of 600 marks, which is of 2.5 hours only, the time of both is same, in total you are asked 270 questions which is of 900 total marks in which you get full 5 hours of marks.
Marking Scheme:
Now if we talk about negative marking then 1/3 marks are given for marking wrong answer. Now let us talk about how many marks should be the target.So in this you have to target 360 marks out of 900 and you will pass the exam.
