CDS 1 2023 Notification Out

Every year, the Union Public Service Commission arranges the CDS or Combined Defence Services admission test. With the release of the notification, the application process will also start. The commission has issued notification of CDS Exam 2022 (CDS I Exam 2022 Notification) on its official website upsc.gov.in.

UPSC Are Issued Today Combined Defense Service CDS I Recruitment 2023. Notification and Invited Online Application Form. Candidate Can Apply Online for 21 December 2022 to 10 January 2023.

Candidates are required to apply online by using the website http://upsconline.nic.in. It is essential for the applicant to register himself/herself first at One Time Registration (OTR) platform, available on the Commission’s website, and then proceed for filling up the online application for the examination. OTR has to be registered only once in life time. This can be done anytime throughout the year. If the candidate is already registered, he/she can proceed straightway for filling up the online application for the examination.

How to Fill UPSC CDS I Exam 2023 Online Form

• Union Public Service Commission UPSC Are Issued Today Combined Defense Service CDS I Recruitment 2023. Notification and Invited Online Application Form for the Latest Defence Jobs 2023 Candidate Can Apply Online for 21 December 2022 to 10 January 2023.
• UPSC has implemented OTR i.e. One Time Registration system for all other types of recruitment including Combined Defence Services.
• Any candidate who is going to apply or thinking of applying in Combined Defence Services CDS First Exam 2023, they will have to do their One Time Registration immediately. Only after that you will be able to apply.
• Candidate Read the Notification Before Apply the UPSC CDS I Latest Recruitment 2023 Application Form in Sarkari Result Latest Job Section.
• Kindly Check and Collect the All Document – Hand Writing, Eligibility, ID Proof, Address Details, Basic Details.
• Kindly Ready Scan Document Related to Recruitment Form – Photo, Sign, ID, Thumb, Proof, Etc.
• Before Submit the Application Form Must Check the Preview and All Column Carefully.
• If Candidate Required to Paying the Application Fee Must Submit. If You have Not the Required Application Fees Your Form is Not Completed.
• Take A Print Out of Final Submitted Form

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION

1. The Competitive examination comprises:

(a) Written examination as shown in para 2 below.
(b) Interview for intelligence and personality test (vide Part ‘B’ of this Appendix) of such candidates as may be called for interview at one of the Services
Selection Centres.

1. The subjects of the written examination, the time allowed and the maximum marks allotted to each subject will be as follows:

(a) For Admission to Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy:—

(b) For Admission to Officers’ Training Academy :—

The maximum marks allotted to the written examination and to the interviews will be equal for each course i.e. the maximum marks allotted to the written examination and to the interviews will be 300, 300, 300 and 200 each for admission to the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officers’ Training Academy respectively.

Height and Weight:

Height requirement varies as per the stream of entry.

(a) The maximum acceptable weight of height has been specified in age wise categories. Weights higher than the acceptable limit will be acceptable only in the case of candidates with documented evidence of body building, wrestling, and boxing at the National level. In such cases the following criteria will have to be met.

(i) Body Mass Index should be below 25.
(ii) Waist Circumference should be less than 90 cm for males and 80 cm for females.
(iii) All biochemical metabolic parameters should be within normal limits.

(b) The minimum height required for male candidates for entry into the Armed Forces is 157 cm or as decided by the respective recruiting agency. Gorkhas and candidates belonging to Hills of North Eastern region of India, Garhwal and Kumaon, will be accepted with a minimum height of 152 cm.

(c) The minimum height required for female candidates for entry into the Armed Forces is 152 cm. Gorkhas and candidates belonging to Hills of North Eastern region of India,
Garhwal and Kumaon will be accepted with a minimum height of 148 cm.

Following investigations will be carried out for all officer entries and for precommission training academies. However examining medical officer/ medical board may ask
for any other investigation deemed fit.

(a) Complete haemogram
(b) Urine RE
(c) Chest X-ray
(d) USG abdomen and Pelvis

*LASIK or Equivalent kerato-refractive procedure

(a) Any candidate who has undergone any kerato-refractive procedure will have a certificate from the centre where he/she has undergone the procedure, specifying the
date and type of surgery.

Note: Absence of such a certificate will necessitate the Ophthalmologist to make a decision to reject the candidate with specific endorsement of “Unfit due to undocumented Visual Acuity corrective procedure”.

(b) In order to be made FIT, the following criteria will have to be met:

(i) Age more than 20 yrs at the time of surgery
(ii) Minimum 12 months post LASIK
(iii) Central corneal thickness equal to or more than 450 µ
(iv) Axial length by IOL Master equal to or less than 26 mm
(v) Residual refraction of less than or equal to +/- 1.0 D incl cylinder, (provided acceptable in the category applied for).
(vi) Normal healthy retina.
(vii) Corneal topography and ectasia markers can also be included as add criteria.

Note: Candidates who have undergone radial keratotomy are permanently unfit
