What did Peso Pluma Say About El Chapo?

Mexican Singer Peso Pluma said about Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzmán in the music video for last year’s hit song “Siempre Pendientes,” or “Always Ready,” in which he compared "El Chapo" Guzmán to an infantryman, It is one of many songs by the musician that praises the founder of the Sinaloa drug cartel.

Due to which recently Mexican Singer Peso Pluma has received death threats from a cartel in Mexico, warning him not to attend a concert in Tijuana.



Peso Pluma was scheduled to perform a concert in Tijuana on October 14, as well as a performance at the North Island Credit Union Amphitheater in Chula Vista, Southern California, on September 30, which has now been postponed.

The singer has received threats from the Jalisco New Generation Cartel as well as three apparent banners threatening Pluma were found in Tijuana early Tuesday.

However, Tijuana Security Secretary Fernando Sanchez said one person had been arrested in connection with the banner incident.  He said the Baja California Attorney General's Office has also opened an investigation.
