Meet Shreeya, a highly accomplished woman with 16 years of experience spanning multiple technologies and industry verticals. As a specialist, Shreeya has successfully managed, implemented, and delivered end-to-end project life cycles and engagements across diverse sectors. She is well-versed in various project delivery methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile, and is a certified Professional Scrum Master.

Throughout her career, Shreeya has excelled in various roles, such as Program Management, Project Management, Solution Architecture, and Business Analysis. She has a proven track record of navigating complex project requirements, including planning, tracking, resourcing, reporting, risk assessment, budgeting, and change management. Additionally, she has effectively managed teams across different time zones, coordinated with clients, vendors, and PMO, and overseen cloud adoption and digital transformations.

One of Shreeya’s most significant achievements is managing one of the largest Salesforce and CPQ implementations, currently serving 2500 active users. She is also responsible for technical delivery, process refinement, and design/architecture for a UK-based telecom customer, leading a team of 89 members. Furthermore, as a Service Delivery Manager, Shreeya ensured adherence to SLAs and delivered quality output for a Managed Services engagement.

Shreeya’s experience as a Business Analyst includes conducting requirement gathering workshops, user interviews, elicitation, creating BRDs, and functional documentation. She has a deep understanding of both “as is” and “to be” processes and is skilled at suggesting the best solutions in terms of usability when designing and discussing projects.

Actively involved in pre-sales and sales cycles, Shreeya has participated in product demos and worked with a variety of technologies and platforms, including Salesforce, Oracle Cpq, Vlocity, Communications Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Vlocity CPQ, Siebel CRM, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and more.

This week, Meet Ms. Shreeya Rashinkar, currently working as a Program Manager at Tech Mahindra. Check out her inspiring journey with Salesforce. 

SG: Let’s get started. Why don’t we start from the beginning? Please tell us about your education/ career before entering the Salesforce ecosystem.

Shreeya: With 16 years of experience in the consulting industry, I have managed numerous digital transformations involving various technologies, domains, geographies, and clients. My journey began as an Associate Software Engineer working on Siebel systems, Avaya Dialogue Designer, IVR, and CTI. I then progressed to roles as a Software Engineer and Tech Lead, focusing on Siebel EAI integration projects.

Additionally, I gained experience with Oracle products, specifically ORS, for field service scheduling, assistant, and related functions. I also engaged in mobility and integration projects utilizing Siebel APIs, Twilio, and similar technologies.

My most significant accomplishments include spearheading and managing the largest Oracle CPQ transformation program, which involved converting 4500 complex legacy products. This project also included the largest Salesforce implementation to date, with 2500 active users across multiple regions.

SG: That’s awesome. Now we would love to know what was the tipping point when you said, “I want to make this change,” and what was the trigger for that?

Shreeya: The pivotal moment in my career came when I managed an end-to-end program that involved the largest Sales Cloud Salesforce implementation, coupled with a complex Oracle CPQ transformation. 

This experience convinced me that Salesforce and CPQ were the future and perfectly aligned with my interests. Since then, I have successfully executed numerous Salesforce and CPQ programs.

SG: You achieved many certs along the way. Can you share three things with us?

3. What are your top tips for being successful in cert exams?

Shreeya: Certifications are not only valuable for showcasing your passion for learning and demonstrating your interests, but they also serve as a testament to your dedication. The primary obstacle when pursuing any certification is taking that initial step. Once you commit to it, you’ll realize the rewards are well worth the effort.

To successfully pass an exam, make sure to complete the relevant Trailhead course, gain hands-on experience with the organization whenever possible, research and read blogs related to the exam, and thoroughly understand the exam’s outline and expectations. Moreover, effective time management is crucial to achieving success!

SG: What do you enjoy most about your work as a certified Salesforce professional?

Shreeya: I take great pleasure in being a trusted partner to my clients and comprehensively understanding the end-to-end processes and ecosystems I am involved in.
