Meet the Salesforce Characters and Mascots: A Fun Guide 2023

SaaSy

It all started with the character SaaSy in 1999 when the founder of Salesforce, Marc Benioff, was finding ways to make software-free technology. The idea was to make software easier to purchase and use without maintaining and updating the software each time.

With the Salesforce No Software concept, SaaSy was born as the first Salesforce mascot created by Bruce Campbell. It is a representation of the end of the software era. Being the first mascot, you can still find SaaSy at most Salesforce events.

Astro Nomical

Domenique Sillet Buxton, Salesforce VP, created Astro in 2014 as a memoir for Salesforce Developer Week. The MTV moon-landing graphic inspires Astro with the combined effort of Domenique and office manager Rochelle Truong. T-shirts presented to all developers had the Salesforce character printed on them. You might have noticed Astro in different costumes; this represents that you can become anything you dream of. Astro Nomical is a representative of community and inclusion.

Astro is a familiar face on the Salesforce platform Trailblazer pages encouraging aspiring users to achieve their goals and making learning a fun experience.

Appy the Bobcat

Appy is a female guide who takes the users through the partner ecosystem and represents the partner community. Appy is a knowledge book of all things Salesforce and can easily take you out of complicated situations. As the guide, she loves leading the way through the AppExchange ecosystem. When faced with the rare case where Appy cannot find the answer, she helps connect the user with the right person. Appy is the friend of the entrepreneur and helps solve entrepreneurial challenges.

Flo the Flying Squirrel

Flo is the vibrant, energetic squirrel who is the automation hero. He represents Salesforce Flow, the base of the automation process, agility, and community. Flying squirrels are famous for their togetherness huddling in their nests and even sharing their spaces with other animals. 

Flo is depictive of the team effort that makes up a successful workflow. Flo works on the slogan that nothing is impossible and helps the users take the team to attain more heights through automation.

Einstein – The Genius

As the name applies, Einstein is the scientist among the Salesforce characters. He represents the problem-solving AI data scientist and is the go-to person when trying to understand some operation or find a new solution. He is a knowledge storehouse, always ready to help with suggestions and make intelligent predictions.

Genie the Rabbit

The rabbit with the magic wand represents Salesforce Data Cloud and displays the power of Salesforce Customer 360. They add magic to interactions by adding customer interaction data without compromising safety or security. They work alongside business teams and help with insightful data.

Cloudy the Goat

Cloudy is the techie and competent helper of the Salesforce Admins. She stays at the center of the action, helps build cloud-based apps, and can help you with anything that’s cloud-related.

Codey, the Bear

Codey is the helping paws behind big projects and represents the Salesforce Developers. He firmly believes that anything is possible with the correct code or clicks, and Codey will help you build anything on the Salesforce Platform.

Ruth, the Elephant

The name- Ruth is an abbreviation for Responsible, Universal, Technical, and Humble. She is a friend of the Salesforce Architects and helps you with the technical details.

Blaze the Wolf

The lady wolf is a gang leader and the most social creature. Blaze will be your friend to analyze customers and attain customer success.

Max the Mule

This grinning mule is the syntax superhero who is the code master, pulling together data and code for quick integration. Max represents Mulesoft.

Koa the Dog

Koa is one of the oldest members of the Salesforce characters. This cute dog represents love and longevity, and he is the best friend of Salesforce Ohana.
