JEE Main 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to announce the Jee Main notification 2024 on its website in December 2023. Candidates can register for the JEE Main Exam in two sessions. The first session is held in January, as was the case last year, while the second session is held in April. However, it is possible that the NTA will hold the JEE Main Session 1 exam in February 2024. JEE Main 2024 Exam: The JEE Main 2024 exam will be held in two sessions, in January and December 2024. In December 2023, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue the JEE Main 2024 application form. The NTA administers the JEE Main test online for two exams: Paper 1 (B.E. or B.Tech.) and Paper 2 (B.Arch. or B.Plan.). Candidates who have completed or are about to complete their 12th grade with PCM are eligible to take the JEE Main exam. However, before taking the exam, students must complete the JEE Main 2024 registration on the NTA website. The JEE Main syllabus is based on the NCERT 11th and 12th books.

JEE Main 2024 Overview:

JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Exam Date (January): The notification for JEE Main session 1 will be issued in December 2023. Candidates will be able to apply for the exam online through the NTA website once the announcement is published. The JEE Main exam date for session 1, i.e. the January session, will be announced alongside the PDF notification. JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Exam Dates (April): After the JEE Main session 1 exam is completed in 2024, interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply for the JEE Main session 2 exam. The JEE Main session 2 notification is likely in the last week of March. We will update the relevant dates for JEE Main session 2 in the table below whenever they are officially announced.

JEE Main 2024 Registration:

NTA will have the JEE Main 2024 application form available on its official website in December 2023 for Session 1, i.e. the January session. Candidates have to complete the JEE Main registration process. Candidates must fill out separate JEE Main 2024 application forms for each session if there are multiple sessions. Registration for the JEE Main entails registering, filling out an application form with personal and academic information, attaching documents, paying the application cost, and submitting the application form.

Steps to fill JEE Main Application Form:

• Go to the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in.
• On the homepage, click on the link of JEE Main Application Form.
• Click on New Registration and fill in the required details and click on submit button to complete the registration.
• After registration, candidates will be redirected to fill out the detailed application form. They will have to provide details of education qualifications, address of communication and permanent address, parent details, and the exam Centre preferences.
• Further, they will have to upload a scanned image of passport-size photograph and signature as per the defined dimensions and size.
• Lastly, they need to pay the JEE Main application fee through Net banking/UPI, Debit Card/Credit Card.
• After the successful payment of the fee, the application form will be automatically submitted.
• Candidates are advised to download the filled application form and take the printout. The form must be kept safely until the admission process is completed.

How to download JEE Main Admit Card?:

• Visit the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in
• Click on the download link for JEE Main Admit Card
• Login by providing the details of the application form and date of birth
• Admit Card will be displayed. Candidates must download it and get the printout along with multiple photocopies.

How to check JEE Main 2024 Result:

• Go to the official website
• Click on JEE Main Result link
• Enter application number and date of birth/password in the login window
• Scorecard/result will be displayed on the screen
• Download the result and get the printout

JEE Main Exam Day Guidelines:

• Candidates attending the JEE Main exam must arrive at the venue before the reporting time shown on their JEE Main Admit Card.
• No one will be permitted to enter the exam centre after the gate has closed. Candidates will also be prohibited from leaving the exam hall before the exam has legally concluded.
• At the exam centre, candidates must bring multiple copies of their JEE Main Admit Card, as well as any other needed documents.
• Students must adhere to the instructions given by the Center’s administrator or invigilators.
• Students will be given blank paper for rough work and a pen/pencil at the exam centre. They must write their name and roll number on the designated part of the document, which will be returned to them.

• Candidates claiming PwD reservations must carry the PwD certificate to the exam centre.
• Candidates will be required to enter the details in the attendance sheet, paste photograph and put signature at the designated place.
