Pakistan Election Results 2024: Early results of the Pakistan national polls have given an edge to Nawaz Sharif, who has won his seat in Lahore amid allegations of “unprecedented pre-poll rigging” leveled by Imran Khan’s party. Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) has alleged tampering in vote counting for the formation of the new government. Imran Khan is in jail, and his PTI party was barred from Thursday’s election, so his supporters contested as independents and performed surprisingly well, exceeding expectations and prompting the PTI to claim victory.
