About Agartala Smart City

The Smart Cities Mission is an urban renewal and retrofitting program by the Government of India with an aim to develop 100 cities across the country making them citizen friendly and sustainable. Agartala got selected as a smart city based on the smart cities challenge, where it competed with several other cities in a countrywide Competition to obtain the benefits from this mission. Agartala Smart City Limited has been formed under the Companies Act, 2013 on 8th November 2016. It is classified as a State Government Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) and is registered at Registrar of Companies, Tripura.

Competition Details

Agartala Smart City Limited (ASCL) is welcoming the participants for wide participation in a Slogan Competition under Haora River Front Development Project of CITIIS Program and the themes are:

• “Preventing Solid waste dumping into the river and drain”.
• “Save the Haora River and Water Bodies of Agartala”.

Eligibility Criteria

• Participants should write Slogans by using their own words. Plagiarism would lead to disqualification.
• Participants are requested to mention their name, one copy passport size picture, contact number, address while submitting their entries. Entries submitted without all these details will be considered incomplete and will be disqualified.
• The participants must note that the slogans must relate with the core themes.
• Participants have to submit their entries in Bengali and English both.
• An eligible entry must include slogans for both the themes listed above i.e. participants have to submit a minimum of four slogans – Two in Bengali and Two in English. Those submitting slogans only for one theme will be disqualified.
• Participants can submit more than four slogans. Best four slogans will be selected by Jury member.
• The participants are requested to stick to the word limit of 30 words (each slogan).
• The authority has the right to cancel the competition if the responses are not satisfactory.
• The competition is open to all Indian nationals above the age of 18.
• The result of the competition would be published on MyGov Tripura Website.

Prizes

Prize money for the slogan competition is Rs: 5000/-.
