COMEDK UGET 2024: Exam Date, Application, Syllabus

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has announced the exam schedule for the Undergraduate Entrance Test for engineering programmes (UGET).

COMEDK is responsible for conducting entrance test for engineering courses in Government engineering colleges as well as more than 150 private colleges in Karnataka. Students are admitted to engineering colleges through centralized counselling conducted by COMEDK

COMEDK has been conducting an engineering entrance test on the second Sunday of May every year. Accordingly, Comedk Uget 2024 will be held on Sunday, 12 May 2024

COMEDK UGET 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates from all over the country can appear for the UGET 2024 entrance examination. The eligibility criterion for various programs is as under: –

FOR UG ENGINEERING COURSES

a) The qualifying examinations prescribed for admission for B.E./B.Tech is second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognized by State / Central Government; the last two years of study shall comprise of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject.

b) The General Merit candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and should have passed these subjects individually. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Bio Technology or Biology or Computer Science or Electronics as one of the optional subjects. However, changes, if any, in the eligibility criteria by the AICTE/VTU will be adopted.

c) An attempt in the COMEDK Entrance Test seeking admission to Engineering courses is considered adequate for figuring in the rank list.

d) Diploma candidates are not eligible to take the Entrance Test as there are no lateral entry admissions.

Note: The candidates shall submit the original marks card of the examination during counseling for proving their eligibility vis-a- vis marks scored as evidenced by the original marks card

COMEDK will soon release the Comedk Uget Application form 2024 on the official website. Candidates should submit their application online before the deadline.

How To Fill Online COMEDK UGET 2024 Application Form

Step 1: Visit the official website of https://www.comedk.org/

Step 2: Click on the Register Now Button

Step 3: Enter all the required details asked in the Online COMEDK UGET Application form such as Name, Mobile Number, Email Address, Home Address Parent’s name, Age, Religion, Caste, Educational Qualification, etc.

Step 5: Upload the documents such as Signature, Photo ID, and Mark Certificates.

Step 6: Verify all the Details

Step 7: Pay the Registration fee and submit the application.

After successfully submitting the application, you will receive an acknowledgement to your mobile number with your Application ID
