2. University President Scholarships in China

There are University President Scholarships in individual Chinese universities. The universities award the scholarship to postgraduate students, especially to the doctoral ones. The duration of the scholarship is 4 years. In this scholarship Ph.D. students get:

  1. 1000 CYN for accommodation
  2. 3500 CYN as a stipend

The medium of instruction for the program is mainly English, but there is also Chinese available. Applicants are advised to contact the supervisor to ensure the language of instruction.

The CAS-TWAS Scholarship is a program awarded to applicants of doctoral degrees. The Chinese Academy of Sciences and The World Academy of Sciences award CAS-TWAS Scholarship to international students collaboratively to encourage scientific researches in developing countries of the world. This scholarship is awarded to 200 Ph.D. applicants from all over the world.
