Eligibility of Chinese Government (CSC) Scholarship

• Applicants must be noncitizens of China.
• Applicants applying for bachelor’s programs must not exceed the age of 25 and have 12 class qualifications.
• Applicants for Master’s programs must hold a bachelor’s degree and not be over the age of 35.
• Doctoral program applicants’ maximum age limit is 40 and have a master’s or MPhil degree.
• Must have the Chinese Language certification of level HSK-4 (180 points) level or above for Chinese-taught courses.
• 6.5 or above band score in IELTS, or internet-based TOFEL test score of 90 or above for non-native speakers for English-taught courses.

Application deadline of CSC Scholarship in China

Chinese universities admit students in 2 intakes, March Intake and September Intake. The deadline for March Intake is normally December 15th and June 15th is for September Intake. 2. University President Scholarships in China

There are University President Scholarships in individual Chinese universities. The universities award the scholarship to postgraduate students, especially to the doctoral ones. The duration of the scholarship is 4 years. In this scholarship Ph.D. students get:

1. 1000 CYN for accommodation
2. 3500 CYN as a stipend

The medium of instruction for the program is mainly English, but there is also Chinese available. Applicants are advised to contact the supervisor to ensure the language of instruction.

Deadline of University Presidential Scholarship

There are also 2 intakes available for the scholarship, March intake, and September intake. The deadline for March intake is between October 15 to December 15 and the deadline for September intake is between March 1 to June 15.

Eligibility of Presidential Scholarship in China

Requirements for (Eligibility of) Chinese Provincial Government scholarships

The CAS-TWAS Scholarship is a program awarded to applicants of doctoral degrees. The Chinese Academy of Sciences and The World Academy of Sciences award CAS-TWAS Scholarship to international students collaboratively to encourage scientific researches in developing countries of the world. This scholarship is awarded to 200 Ph.D. applicants from all over the world. The scholarship winners can attend Ph.D. programs at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), or any CAS institutes in China.
