AFMS Recruitment 2022: Indian Army Medical Corps has issued a notification for the recruitment of 420 Officers Posts in Short Service Commission. This notification was published in weekly employment newspaper from 27th to 2nd September. As per this notification, out of 420 posts of Short Service Commissioned Officers, 378 posts are for men and 42 posts for women. The last date of application is 18 September 2022.
As per the released notification, for applying to the post of Short Service Commission Medical Officer in Armed Forces Medical Services, it is mandatory for candidates to pass MBBS final examination in their first or second attempt only i.e. if a candidate has appeared in MBBS final examination more than 2 times. If passed, then they will not be eligible to apply for these posts, as well as it is mandatory for the candidates to complete their internship by 31 August 2022.

AFMS Recruitment 2022 Qualification:
Candidates must have passed MBBS in their first or second attempt and should have completed internship before 31st August 2022.
The applicant should have a medical qualification covered in the National Medical Council Act, 2019. Applicant should have permanent registration from any State Medical Council / NMC / MCI. Post Graduate Degree holders recognized by State Medical Council/NBE/NMC can also apply.
AFMS Recruitment 2022 Age Limit:
The maximum age of the candidates has been fixed at 30 years whereas if the candidate has PG degree then the maximum age limit has been fixed at 35 years.

Rs.200 – Application fee will be deposited through online mode only.
