CTET Syllabus

Central Teaching Eligibility Test (CTET) is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in order to recruit teachers from classes I-VIII. The exam is divided into two parts – Paper I and Paper II. Candidates are majorly evaluated on topics such as Language-I (compulsory), Science, Social Studies/Social Sciences, Child Development and Pedagogy, Mathematics, Environmental Studies and Language-II (compulsory). Child Development and Pedagogy Section

This section focuses on the educational psychology of teaching and learning lessons relevant to students belonging to the age group of 6-11 years. Topics from which questions are framed in the CTET exam are Child Development, the Concept of Inclusive education and understanding children with special needs, and Learning and Pedagogy.
