NABARD Grade A

India is the second-most populous country in the world. With 65% of the country’s population living in rural areas [UN’s Population Division’s report of 2019], agricultural or farming activities like breeding cattle and harvesting crops remain the main source of income. But often, farmers whose livelihoods depend on agricultural activities lack financial resources. To overcome the hurdles prevalent in this sector, the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development [NABARD], which is also a leading financial institution, plays a significant role. Unlike other bank exams like SBI PO, IBPS PO, etc, the NABARD Grade A offers an opportunity to those who want to explore various facets of the agricultural sector including legal and rural development aspects. This blog will take you through all the details pertinent to the NABARD Grade A examination and its related components.
