NEET PG 2020 – Medical Counselling Committee

Counseling for to 50% All India quota seats, all seats in Deemed/Central Universities and ESIC colleges will be conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), while the remaining 50% state quota seats will be conducted by the respective state counseling authorities. Neet PG will be the basis for admission to 10,821 Master of Surgery (MS) seats, 19,953 Doctor of Medicine (MD) seats and 1,979 PG Diploma seats offered by 6,102 government, private, Deemed and Central Universities. For NEET PG 2019, a total of 1,43,148 candidates had registered out of which 79,633 candidates qualified.

Revision of NEET PG 2020 Cutoff

Every year, to fill the vacant seats left, the union government in consultation with the Medical Council of India lower the cutoff allowing more candidates to participate in the NEET PG counseling procedure. The authority publishes as revised NEET PG cutoff percentile along with corresponding marks. Last year, the cutoff of NEET PG was lowered to 44 for general category, 39 for persons with a disability, and 34 percentile for SC/ST/OBC category candidates. Scope of NEET PG 2020

NEET for postgraduate courses in the academic year 2020-2021 will include admission to the following:

1) All India 50% quota seats (except Jammu and Kashmir)

2) State quota seats (including seats in Jammu and Kashmir)

3) All private medical colleges, institutions & universities/Deemed Universities all across the country.

4) Armed forces Medical Services Institutions

5) DNB broad specialty courses

Even if the majority of MD/MS seats are filled through NEET PG 2020. Few institutions do not fall under the purview of NEET PG2020.

NEET PG Admit Card 2020

NBE has released the NEET PG admit card 2020 from December 31, 2019, onwards. Candidates who will complete the process of registration for NEET PG 2020 will be allowed to download the NEET PG 2020 admit card. The authority informs the registered aspirants through an email and SMS on the registered Email address and mobile number. The admit card of NEET PG 2020 includes the candidates’ details, dates, and timings of the exam and examination center details. The printout of the NEET PG 2020 hall ticket must be carried at the exam center along with the photo ID proof.

NEET PG Syllabus 2020

The NBE prepares the syllabus of NEET PG 2020 will comprise entirely of the subjects studied in the MBBS and BDS curriculum. The NEET PG 2020 syllabus comprises of all three subjects of Pre-clinical, para-clinical and clinical. NEET PG Application Form 2020

Candidates who wish to appear for NEET PG 2020 will be required to fill the application form of NEET PG 2020 which had been released on November 1, 2019. A link to fill the application form has been provided above. The mode of release and submission of the NEET PG application form 2020 is online only. The last date to fill the NEET PG application form 2020 is November 21, 2019. To fill the application form of NEET PG 2020 following steps will have to be completed.

NEET PG Exam Centres 2020

Candidates appearing for the entrance test will be required to choose the NEET PG 2020 exam center at the time of filling the application form. The list of NEET PG exam center has been revealed with the release of the NEET PG 2020 information brochure on November 1, 2019. This year, a total of 162 exam centers of NEET PG 2020 which can be opted. Candidates will have to choose the NEET PG 2020 exam center in the order of their preference while filling the application form. Candidates must note that that the exam centers will be provided only on the first-come-first-serve basis. Candidates will be provided with a list of NEET PG exam centers 2020 along with the total number of seats that are available in the particular test centers of a city.
