Registration for JEE Advanced 2023 will open in May 2023. The updated JEE Advanced 2023 syllabus is available on the page below. The Advanced exam is a computer-based test that will be administered across the country on a national basis. On this page, you can find information about the JEE Advanced 2023 exam, including how to apply, eligibility requirements, exam dates, patterns, and more.

The only entrance exam that allows for admission to IIT’s undergraduate programmes leading to a bachelor’s degree, an integrated master’s degree, or a Bachelor-Master Dual Degree in Engineering, Science, or Architecture is JEE Advanced 2023. In addition to passing JEE Main, candidates must also pass Joint Entrance Examination – Advanced, a national-level exam, in order to join the ranks of IIT alumni. Around 2.5 lakh of the best JEE Main applicants each year are given a seat for this entrance exam. Any one of the seven IITs—IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, and IIT Roorkee—or the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, which operates under the auspices of the Joint Admission Board—conducts the exam (JAB).

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority then uses a common procedure to offer JEE Advanced qualifying candidates seats in IITs based on their course preferences and JEE Advanced rankings. BTech, BS, BArch, BTech and MTech dual degree, BS and MS dual degree, Integrated MTech, and Integrated MSc are the courses that the IITs will be offering through JEE Advanced in 2023.
