A Circle Officer(CBO) in the State Bank of India (SBI) is a mid-level manager. He works in a mid-level management position and is responsible for the management and administration of the core functions of branches of SBI Bank within their designated circle.

Selection Procedure For Circle Officer in SBI

SBI Bank recruits Circle Officers through a competitive selection process. This competitive selection process basically involves the following steps:

Group discussion(GD)
Face-to-Face interview (Personal Interview)

The training period of State Bank of India (SBI) Circle Based Officers (CBOs)

SBI CBOs have to go for training of 6 months to learn about the working style and job responsibilities. Typically the training is conducted at the State Bank Institute of Management (SBIM) or other designated training centers. During the training period, various modules will be covered.
