There are various tough exams in India such as IIT-JEE, NEET, UGC-NET, NDA, etc. Among all Civil Services Examination such as Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) or Indian Administrative Service(IAS) is considered the Toughest exam in India. Because these Competitive exams demand a lot of hard work, dedication, and proper timetable. USPC exam is a national-level examination that is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to choose candidates for civil services such as the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), etc.

The UPSC is the toughest competitive exam in India because the pass percentage of this exam is too low. According to the 2022 data, in these three staged exams of UPSC, the pass percentage at the preliminary level was 0.12%, the main examination was 1.5%, and the interview level was 25%.

Interview:

The interview round is a final round that involves a personal interview with a panel of senior civil servants.

A Large Number of Applicants:

Because of the large population in India, the unemployment rate is high. So there are a lot of candidates who are applying for jobs with a limited number of seats and preparing hard to compete even for a single seat. This is the main reason the competitive exam for jobs is considered to be the toughest nowadays. In 2022, for the UPSC exam, around 11 lakh candidates appeared just for a few seats and unfortunately only 0.12% were able to crack the preliminary exam.

Vast Syllabus:

The syllabus for every competitive exam is vast and covers a wide range of topics. To crack the exam, the candidate must have a strong command over all the subjects be it General awareness, reasoning, general aptitude, English, Hindi, history, geography, economics, and political science.

High Level of Competition:

Every candidate tries his best to be on the top of the game and crack the exam on the first attempt. Because of less number of seats and a large number of candidates who are equally qualified

Rigorous Selection Process:
