1. Marguerite Ross Barnett Memorial Scholarship

Marguerite is one of the Missouri scholarships. The Marguerite Ross Barnett Memorial Scholarship is given each year to Missouri residents and lawful citizens who are working while enrolled in school part-time.
It is a need-based scholarship open to students aged 18 and older who can show they have a genuine need for money and who are working and paid for at least 20 hours per week.
The scholarship is intended to cover the recipient’s tuition at any of the postsecondary institutions in Missouri that are participating—Avila University, Jefferson College, Lindenwood University, and Texas County Technical College—so long as they are pursuing programs of study that have nothing to do with theology or divinity.

2. William R. Kimel, P.E., Engineering Scholarship
Deadline: December 1st
This is among the Missouri scholarships. The National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) administers eight merit-based funds through this scholarship, one of which is the William R. Kimel, P.E. Engineering Scholarship. The fellowship is open to applicants from the United States who want to work in the engineering fields of civil, computer, or aeronautical engineering.
Applicants must be full-time students enrolled in ABET-accredited institutions of higher learning, permanent residents of Kansas or Missouri, and rising juniors in engineering bachelor’s programs to be eligible for the $2,500 prize. Additionally, NSPE student members are expected of all qualified applicants.
This curriculum is appropriate for Midwesterners who want to become professional engineers in a variety of fields, such as civil, computer, and aeronautical. The Purdy Emerging Leaders Scholarship, established in 2010 to honor Alan Walker Purdy, is open to graduating high school seniors in the United States who intend to enroll in a Missouri public four-year university or the State Technical College of Missouri.
The Missouri Scholarship & Loan Foundation’s (MSLF) annual grant for scholarships ranges in value from $2,000 to $5,000.
Residents of Missouri who can show outstanding academic performance, leadership qualities, a strong work ethic, and a need for financial support are eligible applicants. This includes achieving a 3.0 GPA or above in public four-year or state technical colleges in Missouri and making satisfactory academic progress.
4. Missouri Mayflower Society Scholarships

Among the Missouri scholarships, Mayflower society scholarship is one of them. The Missouri Mayflower Society Scholarship Contest is open to Missouri residents who are high school seniors and who plan to enroll in a college or university in the fall of 2023.
In 2023, three scholarships will be given out, each worth $1,500 for first place, $1000 for second, and $500 for third. The colleges or universities where the students have enrolled will receive the scholarships directly.

5. Missouri Minority Teaching Scholarship
Deadline: June 1st
The Missouri Minority Teaching Scholarship is available to Missouri residents of African American, Asian, Hispanic, or Native American background, particularly those who are interested in becoming math and science teachers. It is administered by the Missouri Department of Higher Education.
The scholarship grant is worth $3,000 annually for a maximum of four years, or $12,000 altogether.
Candidates must be enrolled full-time in an accredited teacher education program at a Missouri community college or four-year institution or university that is a participant in order to be considered.
6. Kids’ Chance of Missouri Scholarships
Deadline: May 15/October 30
Every year, the Kids’ Chance of Missouri awards roughly $250,000 in scholarships to biological or adopted children of injured workers who are covered by Missouri’s workers’ compensation law.
Applicants must be Missouri high school seniors who plan to attend universities or technical schools after graduation and show financial need on their Student Aid Reports (SAR). The applicant must also offer credible proof that one of his or her parents has experienced a serious illness or injury as a result of a workplace accident.
Each year, the Spring Semester Scholarship’s application due is October 30 and the Fall & Spring Semester Scholarship’s deadline is May 15.

7. Bright Flight Program
The Bright Flight Program, which is run by the Missouri Department of Higher Education, provides academic scholarships to Missouri residents who are citizens of the United States or have permanent residency.
The scholarship award has a maximum annual value of $3,000 and is renewable for up to 10 semesters.
If the student has taken the ACT/SAT test before the national deadline in June, there is no need to submit an application because the scholarship is awarded automatically based on passing test scores.
The qualified applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA in a major unrelated to theology or divinity and a composite ACT or SAT score that places them in the top five percent of all Missouri students taking those tests. They must also be enrolled full-time at a participating in-state college.

8. Tortoise Young Entrepreneurs Scholarship
In order to encourage and support young entrepreneurs in Kansas and Missouri, where Tortoise Capital Advisors’ offices are located, the Kansas-based investment management company Tortoise Capital Advisors launched the Young Entrepreneurs Scholarship in 2016. The scholarship, which ranges in value from $1,000 to $3,000, was first offered in 2016.
The first, second, and third-place finishers in the Tortoise Young Entrepreneurs Scholarship Program receive three annual, non-renewable scholarships worth $3,000, $2,000, and $1,000, respectively.
Desired candidates must reside in Kansas or Missouri, be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate program leading to a bachelor’s degree at a Kansas or Missouri approved university, or have a plan to do so.
The applicant must also have a minimum GPA of 3.3 and above, an ACT or Old SAT score of at least 24 or 1680, and entrepreneurial success in a four-year bachelor’s program.

9. Missouri Torchbearers’ Endowment Scholarship
Deadline: March 1st
Students seeking a career in printing technology or management in any of the following U.S. states covered by PIA MidAmerica: Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri are eligible for the Missouri Torchbearers’ Endowment Scholarship.
The annual value of the scholarship grant ranges from $500 (for freshmen) to $2,500 (for seniors).
Candidates must be permanent residents of one of the four states mentioned above and be enrolled in a recognized program in printing management or technology.
10. A+ Scholarship Program
Deadline: March 1
The A+ Scholarship Program is the last on the list of missouri scholarships available for college students. This program offers financial aid to qualified graduates of high schools with an A+ designation who plan to enroll in a participating public community college, two-year technical institute, or private two-year institute.
The qualifying candidate must have completed at least 95 percent of the required hours of unpaid tutoring and mentoring for grades 9 through 12, graduated from one of the recognized A+ schools, have a minimum GPA of 2.5, and earn a minimum ACT Math score of 17 and COMPASS Pre-Algebra score of 43.
