International Emmy Awards 2018 – The awards are in recognition of the best television programs initially produced and aired outside the United States. This year 2018 International Emmy Awards was held on Monday in New York City, making it the 48th edition.

Danish actor star Lars Mikkelsen (House of Cards, Sherlock); won the best performance by an actor award for his role as priest Johannes in the religious; drama Herrens Veje (Ride Upon the Storm); while Germany’s Anna Schudt won the best performance by an actress award for playing comedian; Gaby Köster in the dark comedy Ein Schnupfen hätte auch gereicht (The Sniffles would have been fine).
