* A special gandmool nakshatra pooja by an experienced astrologer needs to be performed on the 27th day of the birth of the child. The pooja must be performed once on a lifetime to pacify the nakshatras.

* If a child is born under any of the constellation namely, Ashwini, Megha, or Moola, he/she needs to worship Lord Ganesha throughout his life. Or, if a child is born under Ashlesha, Jyestha, or Revati, he/she needs to worship the ruler of these constellations, Mercury.

* On Wednesday, it is highly recommended to donate anything green like green vegetables, coriander, green amlas, Emerald, or bronze utensils.
