Back in October 15 last year, Google held the #MadeByGoogle event where the Pixel 4 was released. However, it wasn’t the only device being revealed. The company also revealed its first truly wireless earbuds. After several months since the announcement, the Google Pixel Buds are finally hitting the market. According to initial reviews, they’re truly capable of hearables.

The new TWS earbuds come in a cool-looking egg-shaped case. According to the company, they can connect to Android devices with “Fast Pair” when you open them near a device. The company promises clear phone calls in windy or noisy environments. Moreover, the Adaptive Sound feature will adjust the volume accordingly with your surroundings. Since these are TWS earbuds you can use only one of them.

Like their wired predecessor, the Pixel Buds allow you to connect and command Google Assistant without your smartphone. Moreover, it offers real-time translation to conversations. While this isn’t a new feature, the company ensures that it has been greatly improved since its first iteration. Google states that more features will be integrated in the buds in the future. Among them, the company will roll out an update to Find My Device which will show the last known location of your Earbuds. That’s an interesting feature, after all, can you imagine how easy must be to lose one of them?

The Pixel Buds are available in the United States via Best Buy, Google Store, Walmart, and US carriers. Unfortunately, they’re still limited to a single Clearly White color option by now. However, the company will introduce Quite Mint, So Orange, and Almost Black colors in the coming months. All colors come in the same white charging case.
