Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) conducts entrance examinations for its Ph.D. programs and for admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, known as “OPENMAT” (Open Management Aptitude Test). Candidates generally require a Master’s degree with minimum percentage of marks. Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination is also known as JNUEE Exam. JNU for admission to various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs offered by the university. JNUEE is designed to assess the academic aptitude, knowledge and skills of candidates seeking admission to various programs in JNU. Those who qualify can apply for teaching positions in higher education institutions. Candidates who meet the JRF cutoff criteria are also eligible to receive Junior Research Fellowship. JRF recipients can pursue research in their chosen subject at various universities and research institutes.
