Study abroad; Expense or an Investment

This blog is really informative for those readers who are aspiring to study overseas, planning their child to study abroad or looking for someone else. Whoever the reader is, this blog will surely help you out to figure out how you can check whether you’re spending on study abroad is an expense or an investment.

A foreign country has always been a matter of fascination for us. Whenever we face any hurdle in our home country, we still feel that this wouldn’t happen if I would have been in America. I am late for the office! This traffic jam! This wouldn’t happen if I were born in Germany! My school always gives me homework without any relevance…my teacher scold me, this wouldn’t happen in Canada.

Calm your nerves! This wouldn’t happen scenario happens with everyone everywhere in this world. After 50 years, when there will be carbon dioxide everywhere and no space to breathe because of global warming, you will think this wouldn’t happen if I were on Mars.

If you want to move abroad just because you are troubled by everyday’s trouble in your life, then you need to figure out about changing your habits, not your country.

If you are really serious about study abroad, then you are most welcome. There are plethoras of things you can do while studying abroad and those are absolutely exciting. The foreign education is based completely on implementation rather than learning and cramming up. For example, tech giants like apple and microsoft are keen to hire students from the the top universities who have studied computer science in USA.

Studying abroad is an investment for those students who plan to study overseas or to settle there. Just going with the flow because XYZ did this is not the solution because, at the end of the day, you and your family is going to eat the fruit you sow by investing your money and time. Money can be earned again, but your admission age, energy and morale be will down if you invest your money at the wrong place.

You will wonder why I am repeating about the finance again and again in this blog, but this is something significant because I have seen parents mortgaging their homes just for the sake of a diploma in a foreign country. I have seen parents crying because they were duped by fraudsters who took their money with the name of consultancies. Always double check the consultancy  credentials before investing your money.

Keep an eye on the immigration proceedings in the country you are looking for. Just the way you research before  making any investment like mutual funds in the similar way, make a list of pros and cons of studying abroad, and if advantages are more than cons, then you are set to settle overseas. For example,  Just because the German education fee is not applicable or nullified, doesn’t mean you will switch from Business domain to the technical domain of academics. Look for the scholarships abroad that are being provided by many universities, this will help you to overcome the cost of study abroad.
