Enhance Teacher Coaching and Video Analysis With AI

Vosaic AI is an innovative new tool that enhances Teacher coaching and improves video analysis for research. It utilizes OpenAI, the most robust Large Language Model (LLM) on the market, to analyze videos and give time-stamped feedback based on custom prompts.

Over the last couple of years, there has been an increase in the adoption of AI tools by teachers. A recent Forbes survey reported most of the tools are used for:

  • AI-Powered Educational Games

  • Adaptive Learning Platforms

  • Automated Grading

  • Chatbots for Student Support

What’s missing in that list is the use of AI to improve learning by improving teaching. And this is exactly where Vosaic comes in. Vosaic is all about evidence-based coaching cycles. With Vosaic, videos of practice are easily recorded and tagged using custom forms that enable coaches and teachers to focus on specific areas of practice.

Vosaic AI enhances that cycle by allowing coaches and teachers to get initial unbiased feedback using AI.

We call this feature “AI Mate”. AI Mate does not replace the coach but rather assumes the role of a friend who can help both the coach and the teacher.

What Are The Benefits of Vosaic AI

Instant Feedback

Vosaic AI analyzes video transcripts using a variety of pre-set and customizable prompts, giving you immediate, time-stamped feedback you can use to adjust your practice in real time.

Fast Analysis

Whether you want a general summary of a video or time-stamps of specific behaviors, Vosaic AI can provide both before you even hit “play.”

Super Easy to Use

Vosaic AI follows the popular prompt-and-response pattern that many users are already familiar with from ChatGPT, Google, and other popular tools.

How It Works

Vosaic automatically transcribes videos and identifies different speakers—giving you an instant teacher/student talk analysis.

From there, you can use AI Mate to give you feedback or analysis, by asking questions like:

  • “Which domains of Danielson’s framework for teaching are used?”

  • “Are good classroom management techniques used in this video?”

  • “Does the teacher use the revoicing technique?”

  • “Show me all moments where the teacher asks questions?”

  • “Does the teacher give students enough time to answer the questions?”

If needed, you can also ask Vosaic AI to do some calculations for you. For example:

  • “How many questions does the teacher ask?”

  • “Look at every question the teacher asks then calculate how many seconds it takes before each question is answered?”

Prompts can also include questions about specific practices. When those are used Vosaic AI will show a definition of the practice as well as the moments in which the practice is taking place.

For example, a prompt like “What are the look for's in Danielson's Instruction Domain? Is Danielson's Instruction Domain used in this video?”, will result in an answer that shows specific moments in the video where Danielson’s Instruction Domain was used, along with the definition of Instruction Domain look for’s.

Initial Reactions

“I see massive potential there! The fact that it can identify those specific practices like stating clear expectations and using hand gestures is amazing.”

“Wow, this would have saved our team so much time coding different math questioning techniques.”
