Dr Jaskiran Kaur, Director of NMIMS Chandigarh, has more than two decades of experience working nationally and internationally. Her core area of research is Microfinance and Women’s Empowerment.

She was awarded the best research on Emotional Intelligence & Women Empowerment by Punjab University, Chandigarh, 2013. She has 58 research papers (National and International) and four patents to her credit; she has been serving as Pro Vice-chancellor in her last assignment with Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), managing 12 Schools with 10K + students.

She is an expert in implementing a multidisciplinary approach as per NEP 2020. She is a corporate consultant. Shepherded 18 National and International Conferences and six Faculty Development programs for more than 300 faculties.

Dr Jaskiran is also an active advisory Board Member for different Universities of Punjab and Haryana as a special invitee by Vice-chancellor. She launched MBA Business Analytics and Operations management for PTU-affiliated colleges in 2018. She has been working with industry-collaborated academic programs and established five industry-sponsored centres of excellence.

She has deep professional acumen and experience and has been an invitee speaker at many domestic and global institutions. She is an adjunct faculty with Lincoln University Malaysia and Concordia University.
